Icy Christmas/Snowflake Challenges

Hi, hope this finds you all well and not getting to panicky about getting your christmas cards done and posted.
I am entering this card into Totally Tilda's Icy Christmas and Die Cut Dreams Christmas club challenge of Snowflakes.
I have used a circle easel card together with wooden snowflakes that I dabbed white brillance ink onto and then sprinkled with Glamour Dust for that icy effect, a lace doily that has had silver rubbed over it and gently misted with vanilla smooch to give a light sparkle to it, run silver mirror board through a snowflake embossed folder and added a snowflake charm, silver peel offs for border and sentiment. Tilda was coloured with Copic markers in various shades of blue.
Do hope that you like her and any comments or tips are always welcomed.

 Hi Peeps
Just letting you know that I am off on holidays this week, so there will be no posts up. Am having a few days away in the north of the state to have a bit of RnR.
Just a reminder that Bizzy Bec's has opened her new store blog and can be seen at this site, she has a wonderful shop and well worth a wander through her online store. Bec also has some wonderful candy that ends on Nov 10, so go and enter yourself for this chance to win.
Will be back next week, so until then, take care and happy crafting

All Things Pink

Hi everyone
Well, have I had some fun. Attended the Melbourne Paperific show Friday just gone and what a time we had. Took a good friend and flew over for the day.
It was a case of which way do you head first, there were so many wonderful shops to visit and so little time to do it all in, so started at stall number 1 and worked our way around.
Stopped and visited the girls at Mad for Markers and watched a few copic demo's with them and leart a thing or two.
Bought lots of goodies, Magnolia stamps, Copics of course, Martha Stewart punches, papers, inks, chipboard in all shapes and sizes and designs, vintage and so on and on and on !!!!. Broke definitely, but what a way to be.
Now for the card for two challenges, one with Mad for Markers (Pink theme)   and 7KidsCollege challenge using a Magnolia image and two papers, so do hope you like it.
Did anyone else manage to get to Melbourne to the show, do let me know what you thought.
Take care and see you again here soon

Framed Magnolia Wedding

Hello peeps

Well, it has been a while, so do forgive me. Work can be so intrusive on your crafting time LOL.
I was asked to do a framed picture for a couple who have been married for 60yrs and were renewing their vows, so a friend wanted a little memento for them, so I put together this and do hope that you like it.
Magnolia Wedding Tilda n Edwin / Magnolia Rose Arbor / Flowers and leaves from Bizzy Bec's, Ribbon n Charm from Image Plus Tasmania / Copic markers / Kindy Glitz Crystalline Glitter on the roses and her bouquet of flowers.
Any comments or tips always welcomed.
Hope to be here a bit more often as hours at work have been reduced, so more crafting time ahead.

Take care

Today I thought I would have a go at my first challenge and chose Just Magnolia's "Fold It".
I have used a selection of flowers from my stash together with papers and pearls and rub ons, and of course the Tilda image with the two fold as stated.
Do hope you like what I have done and good luck to all those that have entered.
Inspiration for this card came from Marcea from Marceas Crafting Corner.
Have a great day.

New Cards

Hi everyone and Happy New Year !!

Sorry that I have not been on here for sometime. This is due to work committments over christmas and then not such a good start to the new year. I have had to have surgery on my back, so have been limited to a lot of rest and not allowed to do a thing (I'm climbing the walls) and I can see so much crafting that could have been done. Anyway, on the mend now and am able to do a few little things, so sitting at my desk colouring with my Copic markers has been fun.
I have posted a few cards that I have done and with assistance from Bec of BizzyBec's (do have a look at her blog) am quite pleased with them. Any comments or tips are always welcomed.
Have enjoyed looking at your blogs while I have been off, and such inspiration can be gained just scrolling through from one to another.
Hope this all finds you well.
Happy crafting

Kym xx
